The Michaelhouse Centre is one of the most unique arts venues in central Cambridge which can accommodate small performances of, for example, theatre, chamber music, small orchestral ensembles, and choir performances. There is exhibition space in the Café and the Chancel.
We aim to expand the accessibility of arts to all communities in Cambridge, and we welcome student groups who are looking for rehearsal and performance space in this wonderful venue.
The Michaelhouse Centre also supports the literary arts and welcomes suggestions from local booksellers, authors, reading groups, and storytellers about events at the Centre.

Mario Petrucci and John Lyons will be reading from their own works.
Mario Petrucci is a physicist and ecologist; he brings innovation and excitement to language whose subjects are by turns uplifting and harrowing, but always powerfully rendered.
John Lyons is known nationally and internationally as a painter and Carribean cook. “ John Lyons recounts snippets of Caribbean life through poems which dance in the memory long after the book is closed.” Valerie Bloom.
