Project costs and project funding
The cost of the Centre's refurbishment totalled £1,262,000. Furnishing, equipping and other start-up costs added a further £30,000 to the overall cost.
Just under £1.1 million has been received in donations and pledges. Loans totalling £325,000.00 made up the difference, and gave us a little working capital. By July 2007, through further generous donations, the amount of outstanding loan had been reduced to £55,000.00. Encouraged by this support, we were able to open the Centre in December 2002. We cannot express sufficient thanks to all who have supported us through this process.
